God performs His word.
By Sharon Silva
As a preacher's kid, I grew up seeing God’s intervention into our lives. We serve a personal God. God says (Jeremiah 1:12) “I watch over my word to perform it”.
Of the many times that God proved his word to me, I’ll share one of those occasionally, here at “Live Him”.
We heard the news, My mother would have to have thyroid surgery. The surgeon said she would. NEVER sing again and may not be able to talk at all. She was a Sunday school teacher, a youth leader, and lead worship at Church on many occasions not to mention what that would mean to her personally. As a family, Daddy declared “We’re going to trust God. I believe it was three weeks later that I sat in Church with our Church family who had continued prayer for my mother. She stepped up to the platform, and her strong voice filled the room with praise as she sang. “The Healer”. It was an old song and the chorus included what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah. (Isaiah 53:5). “He was wounded for our transgressions., He was bruised for our iniquities, Surely, He bore our sorrows and by his stripes. We are healed.
Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever.
