Ok everyone if you don't start sharing testimonies, you'll just have to keep hearing from me. (LOL) I would much rather hear from each of you so you can help me share the wealth. When I first typed that I typed share the burden... but testimonies are not burdensome they are the building blocks of faith in Jesus.
So, back to the title. Depending on the meaning the question can have a positive or negative connotation. When I ask this question most often it is the latter of the two. My injuries over the years have left me with the inability to do many of the everyday things most people never even think about. Simple things like tying shoes, getting in and out of bed or even as simple as picking up something I dropped. believe me some things can get very embarrassing and frustrating and I often get angry with God and ask, "Why me? What did I ever do that was so bad I have to live like this." (believe me when I tell you that is an extremely unfair question after the thing He has brought me through). Still, I often ask the question, and it happens that within minutes of asking it He shows me someone whose troubles I would never want to bear. I realize that ungratefulness can certainly be a huge hindrance to our relationship with God, which I definitely do not want.
Knowing I have already had my healing, I think of the ten lepers who were healed by Christ. When only one returned to thank Him, he asked, "Where are the nine? Were not ten healed?" The only thing He asks of us is to be grateful for our blessings. Every day I see people whose troubles far outweigh mine and I think, "There but for the grace of God go I."
So, count your blessing daily. Take note of the things He has done for you and write them down. Go back and read them often as a reminder of Hi goodness and a builder of your faith.
Don't just love Him. Live Him.Don't just LVE Him.LVE Him.
