Genesis 2:1, Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
God rested on the 7th day, and we are also supposed to have a day of rest from the day-to-day work and tasks that fill our lives. We find ourselves so full of busyness that we do not take time to refresh ourselves in the word and prayer.
Still, Jesus changed the standard when it comes to sharing the Good News of the Gospel. He compares the lost to a sheep who has fallen in a pit and the Good Shepherd lifts it out. We all know someone who is that sheep in the pit, but are we extending our hand to lift them out or are we just going about our BUSYNESS and forgetting the more important things Like sharing Jesus to the lost.
11 Then He said to them, “What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out? 12 Of how much more value than is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” 13 Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other.
Do good today! Be a participant not just a spectator. Nobody ever won the race who was sitting in the stands.
Don't just love Him. Live Him.Don't just LVE Him.LVE Him.
