Manna for today

In Exodus 16:1-35, The children of Israel had been delivered from Egypt only to begin grumbling in the wilderness because there was no readily available food. God heard their cry and sent "Manna"" to form every morning as the dew dried up. Each person was to gather enough for the day and consume all of it that day If they did not it became worm infested and rotten. On the 6th day they gathered enough for two days so there was no need to gather on the Sabbath. It seemed like pretty clear instructions yet there were those e who strayed and did not follow the directions God gave to Moses. It is not so different from how we as Christians, often spend or days today. We feed our physical bodies daily yet, leave our spirit to starve because we do not go and gather our nourishment through the word, prayer, time with God and fellow believers in church services. All of these are crucial to developing a healthy spirit. Why then, does it seem that many Christians seem to never be happy and only see the negative side of every situation? I believe it is because they are not feeding the spirit with the things Jesus taught us. John 14:15-18, 15, If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. That is the real purpose of this movement to provide manna daily from our members, so that we can begin our days LIVING JESUS! AS our membership grows, I am hoping all of you will contribute to our content with your experiences and testimonies about the rewards, trials, tribulations and little nuggets of wisdom God has given you. Consider James 14:17, Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. I prayerfully hope many of you will begin to share here today.
