Complacency

James 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. This week at our men's group I spoke about complacency. We have become a society that wants to put everything on auto and forget about it. For some things that is very convenient but our relationship with Christ must be an intentional habit. So many times, we treat our devotion time as a check box to be marked off. Daily reading of the word is vital to spiritual growth, but it must be accompanied with reflection time, fellowship and testimonies of others to know how the spirit is directing you. I encourage you to attend not only your church service where the pastor tells you what you should do but add to that Sunday School and LIVEHIM to share PRACTICAL ways to accomplish what He has called you to do. We will be looking forward to hearing your testimonies and experiences.
