Heaven, Now or Later

21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22 If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! 23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; 24 but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, I'm sure you have heard the phrase "Everyone wants to go to Heaven; they just don't want to go today." Paul here is talking about just that very thing. While it is very desirable to be with Jesus, we still have work to accomplish here on earth. One of the main reasons LIVEHIM was to create a platform for Christians to share their experience and testimonies to help others build their faith to overcome trials that they may be facing. A second reason was at age 67 I believe God still has things He wants me to accomplish and people He wants me to reach, however there are many people that my testimony will not inspire but yours will. We all have different life experiences that will help different groups of people. That is why it is so important for you to share your testimonies and experiences. One person may struggle with addictions, another with health while still others face depression or anxiety. You may be the one that helps them overcome by sharing how Jesus helped you. If you are here on this earth today there is something God still has for you to accomplish. There is strength and power in unified prayer and testimony. That is why church services and group bible studies are so important. Consider sharing here today. May God richly bless today and every day!!
